exercise your spirit daily!

As christens we need to educate ourselves in the word of God! And take time out of our own day for GOD. Do you actually think that you will grow in the Lord and his great and glorious knowledge without searching him out on your own? I'm not saying don't go to Church, Bible studies, or small groups. What I am saying is do NOT! Let that be the extent of your spiritual nourishment. If you are you will slowly start to quench the spirit of God in your life, you are becoming dependant on men to feed you. Although the men teaching and preaching may be great men of God, the same spirit that dwells in them dwells in YOU! If you are in Christ (1 cor 12:13) (Rom 8:9) The Lord wants to build you up both through sound doctrine, good teaching, fellowship AND! a personal Daly EXERCISING of the Holy Spirit that dwells in you. Everyone receives the Holy Spirit when they TRULY receive Jesus Christ, regardless of what you may have been taught. Through receiving God and his spirit we also obtain responsibility for our own Christen walk and the direction we are moving. You are ether growing or as slightly as it may be, fading but you are never standing still. I pray you seek the Lord daily and personally, that is ware true life is.(Amos 5:4)

stop trying and start seeking

Gods will is not a place, but rather a relationship-obedience. His will for us is that we would come to have a real true relationship with him. Through that he will make his path for us known, without the relationship there is no way for you to know your purpose. We were created to have communion with God, and a relationship is more than merely knowing of him, in a loving relationship you desire to understand the interact details of that person, you wan2 spend time with them and communicate with them, listen to them and make them happy. Gods will for us is a relationship first and foremost. Understand that. As you continue to seek God he will begin to open your eyes to spiritual truths that right now you may not be ready for. Through seeking the Lord you will realize, that's where all the peace, Joy, comfort, and hope comes from. It comes from striving after him and making HIM! You're ONLY! Focus. If you call yourself a Christian then Jesus needs to be the reason you live, not just a part of your life. Yes God dose love us but that is not the number one reason why we are saved. We are saved to bring him glory (matt 5:16) (John 15:7-9) A life regenerated in Christ is a changed life! (2 Cor 5:17) (Rom 6:4)and that changed life brings glory to God. If a person saved my life I would be so grateful, I would want to get to know and do whatever I can for that person. With that same passion we need to seek after Christ, long to know him and seek to serve him. By laying aside your hopes, dreams, expectations , and falling FAITH first into Christ HE will revile to you your true path HE has set before you.

faith

                                                                      F.A.I.T.H

It is amazing to watch God work. Lately he has been exposing certain parts of his caricature to me, and destroying my feeble human led "understanding" of God. We think it's so hard to have faith, and it is if we are trying to peace it together in our own minds. We so often get away from scripture which is God, as we stray so dose our understanding and we revert slowly back into a human and worldly mindset. Like it or not, your reflection of faith is a reflection of your relationship with God. He gives us true understanding... 1 John 5:20. So without being close to Him it is impossible to receive his understanding. As I continued seeking the lord and asking him to open my mind and heart to his truths (1 john 5:14) (matt 7:7) (James 1:5) he did. Through that, my understanding grew in leaps and bounds and everything started changing. The biggest thing was my faith! My faith was being built in God's promises, that he is the same yesterday today and forever (Heb. 13:8) and that he will never leave me or forsake me (Deut. 31:6). With that, I can stand firm in Him regardless of my current situation. Faith is a decision, not a reaction to how you feel or how you want to feel. Paul was content in whatever state he was in (Phil 4:11) because he had a heavenly understanding of this life that the lord gave him. When we have faith in the truths of God, we will begin to feel routed and solid in our faith. This is the faith we need to have on our world race, and also to understand that it is given. To receive it we must seek after it through our Lord God.
